OACCS Scholarship Foundation Announces New Scholarship Winners!
The Ohio Association of Career Colleges and Schools (OACCS) has awarded 12 scholarships that will assist individuals who plan on attending or who are currently attending a career college or school in Ohio. OACCS created the scholarship program this year and distributed $15,500 for this academic term. Since this was the first year of this program and a pilot start, the scholarships were limited to 12 schools.
The scholarship monies will be divided of the term of the program inwhich the appliciant is enrolled. Students must use the funds for tuition, fees, and supplies directly related to the cost of the education and training. To maintain eligibility, students are required to maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better and a 90 percent attendance record.
