What We Do
Ohio Association of Career Colleges and Schools (OACCS) is a statewide association with voluntary membership for proprietary, postsecondary private career colleges and schools. All our member schools are licensed by the State of Ohio, through the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools.
OACCS works to keep legislators and regulators, both in Columbus and Washington, informed on our member schools' unique ability to achieve successful results for Ohio’s students and employers.
Over the past 25 years, the Association has been successfully offering seminars and workshops to the staff, facility and administrators of career colleges and schools.
Through the efforts of the member schools, we have been able to offer over 340 scholarships to Ohio’s high school graduating seniors through the OACCS Legislative Scholarship Program. In addition has initiated the Workforce Tuition Scholarship Program for any current or future student attend our member schools. Check out these scholarship programs and more in the Scholarships section of this web site.
